Adam Milstein was recently recognized by the Jerusalem post as among the 50 most influential Jewish figures in the world who are known to influence the society positively at present and even in the future. In the list of the most influential Jewish Adam was elected number 39 for his contribution as the chairman and the co-founder of Israel American Council (IAC).
The nomination also included his contribution as a philanthropist, leader, and activist in several Jewish organizations internationally. Some of these agencies include Stand with us, the Israel on Campus Coalition, Birthright Israel, Stand with Me, Hasbara Fellowship as well as AIPAC Council. Adam was not the only Jewish recognized in the post, among other prominent leaders included The Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, Charles Schumer a U.S Senator, Supreme Court judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Elena Kagan, philanthropists Sheldon Adelson, Haim Saban, Ron Lauder, Lynn Schusterman, and Matthew Bronfman. In the list, other Jewish leaders including Sara Silverman and Gal Gadot who are entertainers were named, as well as Natan Sharansky and Malcolm Hoenlein.
Adam Milstein mentioned that he was humbled and appreciated being appointed in the list of the most influential leaders in the Jewish community as well as internationally among the most famous leaders in the world. The Adam Milstein Foundation is established under two principal pillars which are to strengthen the Jewish community and their homeland Israel as well as funding projects that are driven to help the people of Israel.
Adam Milstein was born and raised in Israel, Haifa to his parents Eva who was a homemaker and his father Hillel who was a real estate developer. His parents are immigrants his father came from Mexico while his mother from Argentina. After school, Adam joined the Israel Defense Force, and he served during the Yom Kippur war. After completing his service in the army, Adam joined the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology where he studied and graduated with a Bachelor’s of a degree of Science in business and Economics in 1978. As he was still in college Milstein joined his father in the real estate business. He married his wife Gila and were blessed with children. In 1981 they moved to the United States where he studies his Master’s Degree in Business Administration at the University Southern California Los Angeles. Milstein is devoted to continuing his support for the people of Israel through his foundation, Milstein Family Foundation.
