Jeffry Schneider is the CEO and founder of Ascendant Capital LLC., which is a boutique investment firm that heavily focuses on alternative investment opportunities. He has over 24 years of experience in the financial services industry, and many people consider him to be a brilliant investor. He has a Bachelor’s degree of science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and believes that education is a must in today’s world. The business culture of trust, encouragement, and transparency that he has created at Ascendant is quickly gaining attention as one of the number one reasons for its billion dollar success.
Before creating Ascendant Capital, Jeffry Schneider worked for many top-notch firms, such as, Alex Brown, Smith Barney, and Merrill Lynch. He also worked at both Axiom Capital Management and Paradigm Global Advisors where he helped to build healthy relationships with hedge fund managers. By making sure that their clientele was a proper fit for their services, Jeffry learned some of the intricacies of investing. He especially worked with alternative managers and gave them advise on how to structure their investments the best way possible. After taking on these roles, in 2009, he put together what would become Ascendant Capital. In the beginning he worked quite a bit with Virtus Real Estate and raised six different funds, which invested in more than $1.5 billion in Real Estate. Ascendant itself has made $1 billion and plans on continuing to raise at least $50 million a month over the next year.
Jeffry Schneider believes that if you are successful, it is your duty to help out other people. He donates his money and time to many charitable causes, and one of these is the Gazelle Foundation, which is an organization that improves the quality of life for people in Burundi, Africa by constructing clean water systems. Without the help of Jeffry and the organization, many people would succumb to illness due to being forced to drink unclean water. To this day $1.3 million have been donated to the Gazelle Foundation, which in turn has provided water for schools, churches, medical facilities, and the general population of Burundi and Jeffry Schneider on Facebook.
